The Honeybees have been on a roll winning 15 straight and only dropped 1 set in all of district play. They will have to get past Abilene Wylie (who has beat them twice already) to get to the state tourny. I have no idea who else will be stout in region 1.

Any info on Bellville v Smithville?

If LV gets by the winner of that match, it should make for a heck of a match against La Grange. LG and LV are 2 of the best teams in Region 4 and it will be tough for one them to be knocked out before even making it to the regional tournament. The Lady Bears are 31-5 this year and have some wins against some quality teams, good luck lady's.

I'm not really sure with this being our first year back in Region III. But Tarkington and Orangefield look tough

East Bernard has 13 state championships but all came before 1995 when Norma Pullin was the coach. It's been a long dry spell for the Brahmarettes. They won state 1988-90. 93-94 and twice in 1972 when spring sport was moved to fall. They played in 18 state tournaments. They were dominate back then and beating 3A, 4A and 5A sc schools against the likes of Katy etc
