Let the talking begin!!!. The Gobblers have something to play for so does Gonzales?

I have not seen the Gobblers play only followed their progress against common opponents. That being said, Gonzales is a force. If Cuero's defense has the horses to stop the Apache stampede then maybe their prolific offense can put up enough points to win. But the Diesel will get his 200+ yards and 3-4 tds. Gonzales wins by 21.

Its going to be crazy at Apache stadium. The Apache fans are going to be loud, as for the Cuero fans will be the same (loud).

Good luck to your team BG61.

Pud I thank we match up with them up front. The team that come out the locker room at halftime & control this game will win.

At Apache Stadium, can not see this game being close. Apache's by 3 or 4 Td's.

Your right Hook, we have not lost a game in two seasons at Apache stadium yet.;) and I don't think we will with this being the last home game of the season. Both of our losses came about on the road this year.

Go Apaches

Hook did yal play at Apache Stadium this year? so how do you know how it is? It's a rivalry game hook!! If LG can hold them to 20 we can to. If it wasn't for a fumble you would have a loss bud in your backyard not at Apache Stadium jus sayin see you nexts week. Don't look past yoakum on the road.

Loosing is not good any where - but loosing at Apache field is BRUTAL! I can remember some time during the Littleton years, maybe around 2000, that Cuero lost in Gonzales. Not good! Good luck to the GOBBLERS as they enter hostle territory Friday night. GO-MEAN-GREEN!

You are right about this being a big rivalry game. Cuero has stuck it to Gonzales many times. Up until the past run the Gobblers had against Gonzales, the series has been pretty close. Apaches turned the tide last year. BTW, LaGrange didn't hold the Apaches to 20. Apaches scored 34 in LaGrange. Scored 43 against Giddings and 48 against Yoakum.

Cuero will show up, and make this a competitive game. But, GZ OL is too much and should win this one by 14+. The way they attack to the LB'ers, onto the secondary is dominating. Any RB they have could gain 200+ behind that lines execution. Like a well oiled machine and very impressive to watch. Congrats to those kid's in GZ.

And, unlike last years Apache playoff team, if need be---Hillman can throw well enough, should someone stop that rushing machine. This GZ team can make it to "Jerry's World" in December IMO.

It's too late in the season for "trap" games in the schedule. Tonite, the Cuero boyz must have played as a team better than in previous weeks and executed their gameplan to perfection to beat a very good Gonzales team. It happens to the best of teams, and alerts the coaches of Gonzales what areas they need to still work on to get better. That's exactly what football requires as the season progresses and teams get better. Then comes the playoffs....and matchups. Who will execute the best in that particular matchup usually wins, except for variables like key injuries, penalties, and turnovers.

Agreed we are all in crunch time now. No room for lackadaisical play. Playoff time is almost here and two slots are up for grabs in D26. Same in D25.
