We haven't kicked this one around in a while---which Region do you think is the strongest right now?

It's harder to win D2 because you have to play one extra game to win it all. That in itself makes D2 deeper. Some years D1 is stacked, but for the most part year in and year out D2 is harder to win it all in.

If you meant Region 2, this year definitely will have its share of good teams, but from top to bottom I think Region 3 is better this year. You never know, though, until the semis how the regions stack up against each other.

Very true waterboy, but then again, it's all about match ups. How teams match up their game vs spread/balanced/run oriented teams.

I think they're all pretty dang competitive this season IMO.

If I were going to rank regions, I'd submit this.

1. Reg 3
2. Reg 1 closely behind Reg 3 edging out Reg 2
3. Reg 2
4. Reg 4

Region IV is crap outside of two districts.
