Time to go see our old friends in Scurry County. There's a new coach in Snyder, but I'm sure that hasn't changed the mutual "love" between the Tigers and the Bulldogs. :inlove::evillol:

No matter what their record, Snyder is always a tough opponent. Looking forward to a great game and to checking out the renovations. Is there still a welcoming committee on the visitor's side or no?

I was trying to think of something nice to say about Snyder, but nothing is coming to mind so never mind. I guess the closest I could come would be to say that Snyder is slightly less ugly than Big Spring. That's all I got.

No it doesn't smell we hung several of those little green pine tree fresheners over there. You will love it!!! We also installed cameras in the bathroom stalls to make sure you don't get picked on while you are doing your business.

TODAYHTIGER STADIUM HKEAN 105.1 FMWhat's riding on the game:The only remaining undefeated team in District 4-3A, Wylie is a virtual lock at this point for one of the league's three playoff spots. But the Bulldogs have their sights set on a district championship and their first perfect regular season since 2001. A win this week puts them in position to achieve that first goal and keeps the second alive heading into their regular-season finale against Sweetwater (4-4).

Last game: The Bulldogs dominated Midland Greenwood, racking up 406 yards in a 48-20 road win. Snyder was beaten soundly at Monahans, 37-12. The Bulldogs and Tigers have met 19 times since 1992, with Wylie leading the series 12-7.

Scouting Snyder: The Tigers first season under first-year coach Aubrey Sims has been a tough one at times. Making the switch to a spread offense, Snyder has averaged 25.9 points and 348.9 yards per game. But the team's defense is surrendering more than 35 points per contest. Junior Skillet Rinehart has taken over as the team's quarterback, passing for close to 250 yards during the past three weeks, while D'Vincent Allison (820 yards, nine TDs) and Brandon Davis (785 yards, seven TDs) lead the team's running attack.

Bulldogs update: Playing in place of injured running backs Garrett Martin, Zerrie Mack and Hunter Calhoun, Hayden Lewis posted his second big performance in as many games last week, following up a 120-yard rushing performance against Monahans with a 177-yard, two-TD performance against Greenwood. Lewis has 333 yards on 44 carries, giving the Bulldogs four players with at least 150 rushing yards.

What the Bulldogs need to do to win: Keep doing what they're doing. With the way Wylie has performed on both sides of the ball this season, it's hard to imagine the Bulldogs dropping this one. And if they play up to their standards, they won't. Should coach Hugh Sandifer's squad play with the intensity we've come to expect from it and avoid getting sloppy with the football, Wylie's likely looking at another comfortable win.

...We are pretty proud of the stadium and other facilities.First time I had seen the stadium since the renovations. Field was great, new stands and press box--very nice. New bathrooms and ticket box--very nice. No visitor's locker room--FAIL. The visitor's facilities are an embarrassment... the boys had to dress in the old gym, stand in line to use the toilet, no training tables, etc. I hope that is next on the agenda.
