I think all three playoff spots will be locked up tonight. Ingleside, Sinton, Orange Grove. This makes next week's game between Ingleside and OG very importnat. It will determine the final district champ or district co-champs.

Good win Pirates! Sinton scored on every possession in this game in time consuming drives and had only 1 quick score might of kept the defense a bit fresh. Defensively pitched a shut out but going to be a little picky here still some bad tackling and giving up to many 3rd and long plays that turn into first downs. One more game to work on the tackling because this team will need the defense to improve on the tackling. K Garcia has been great on tackling on defense, need more of that from the rest of the defense.

True that, but I think this was their best defensive showing to date. They seemed to have MUCH better outside containment than in the past. That has been a major task for them. Multiple goal line stands were awesome to watch! Mercier stopped a potential touchdown run from Oso, and it seemed like the defense decided they were NOT gonna let his stop be for nothing. They did great putting on the pressure , forcing Oso to, yet again, turn the ball over on downs. Great job defense!

Good job Pirates and much better on defense, we all ready knew we could run the ball so no surprise there! I hope we use next week to practice being more balanced on offense in preperation for the playoffs. We've lost the first game the last two years becasue we could not pass the ball. Ingleside beat us by stopping the run and putting us in panic mode, we need to be able to throw the ball and use all our play makers, not just two. We need to treat next week as a tune up game and start using Handson more as a QB and not just a running back. He is ready, quit holding him back and only throwing when we have to. We are way, way, way too predictable! Good teams will be able to stop the run if we don't keep them honest in our pasing game. We will need Zepeda and Shedd in the playoffs and they are not being used but 3 to 4 plays a game max, hope we have them ready.
