Stafford beat Sweeny tonight and will clinch a playoff berth when they beat Kipp (guaranteed).


This means that WC who was a lock to go D1 is now going D2 and Stafford made the playoffs for the first time since I've been following high school football.

I don't remember Stafford making the playoffs since 1989 when Dennis Gorka was coach and his son Brian was a fullback

Yeah '89 was when Stafford opened. It was a culture shock for them to head out to the country.

Aint high school football great? I mean Stafford goes to the playoffs and Columbia to DII! Congratulations to Stafford for an impressive win. It's going to get real interesting now.

Absolutely nobody, atleast no one i know. Looks like Sweeny is self destructing in Football. I hate it for those kids and i know a lot of them. They have a good amount of talent over there so, it's a little surprising to see their season end with a loss like that.
