You got you a good one! This is from the Tulsa game.
True freshman Luke Turner (injured Gilmer QB from 2011 - Carthage broke his foot) ran for a career-best 102 yards, all in the second half to set the Owls up with their scoring chances. He carried three times for 27 yards to set up Boswell's 35-yarder and then after a 14-yard Tulsa punt set the Owls up at the Rice 47, Turner carried the ball seven times for 24 yards to set up a 36-yard attempt that was wide left.
The ESPN announcer summed it up best..."this young man enetered the game with one play from last week where he threw a TD pass...he has seized control of the team...Tulsa does not know how to stop him".
You will be hearing much more from Luke in the near future.

I happened to go to the Yahoo!Sports site while watching the TCU-Tech game that day and saw that Rice was LEADING Tulsa at Tulsa. Couldn't believe it, so I went to a European site www.thefirstrow.eu which had a link to that game and started watching it.

It was like deja vu all over again, as Yogi Berra would say. There was Luke taking the snap out of the shotgun and pounding the middle like a battering ram on play after play. Only difference was that he had two other backs in the backfield with him at either side.

Then right after the kicker missed the field goal that would've made it 27-21 Rice, the Tulsa RB broke a 75-yard run and Tulsa wrapped it up with a TD moments later. Heartbreaking lack of defense. Rice should be admitted to the Big 12.
