50 point rule.

Some games I've been to have gotten to 50 point difference by halftime.

Even good players on winning teams need decent amounts of gametime play to sharpen their skills and stay game ready.

What's next?

And just for balance ... I went to a college soccer game over the weekend that ended in a 1-1 tie, argh!!!

Maybe the football coach in Connecticut really can't add, subtract or count to fifty ...

11% is an insanely bad grad rate. I don't think leaving school early for NBA draft could possible account for the lack of players graduating.

Or get down to the redzone and punt or kick field goals on first down.

Maybe just work on long range field goals from the 50 and beyond...

Or change the rule to read first team to 50 wins and game over.

Or get as close to the goal line as possible and then punt! Have some fun with it and punt from the 1 yard line!

Gee... A freaking safety put them over the 50 pt rule, and the coach gets suspended for a game.
Penalized for being too damn good?

Teaching our kids the illusion that life is fair and kind. Sounds like Conn. is raising a bunch of p***ys (sorry for the lack of a better word) to me.
