With the proposed new UIL 3A Divisions 1 and 2 Enrollment Splits....

Will the enrollment numbers pull more of the Bottom 4A and Top 2A Schools??

I am hearing the new 4A range will be 750-1500, but who knows with the UIL (Udderly Ignorant Logic).:crazy1:

Logic says they might pull some from the bottom of 4A to make the new 4A (3A Div. I) larger but this is new territory....who knows at this point..

That means we would stay with La Marque and KIPP Sunnyside.

Or it could look like this

Houston Kashmere
Houston Jones
Houston Kashmere
La Marque
KIPP Sunnyside

and

Sweeny
Bellville
Columbus
Wharton
Brookshire Royal

That's just my opinion if those numbers are true.

Generally speaking I think the UIL does a good job with realignment. They'll never make everyone happy but I think overall realignment wise they do a decent job

That's definitely a job I would not want to try to manage!

You'd have to be lying to say that most of the districts in the state are stacked evenly! I like the idea of dividing 3A into two divisions. Just thumb through DCTF and you'll see that almost every district has a school body spread of anywhere from ~1,000 kids down to ~500 kids. I know that some smaller schools have very competitive programs, but, for the most part, the smaller schools are dominated. I'm looking forward to seeing some more competitive mid-size Texas High School football real soon!

Dare I say, Hooray to the UIL!!!

So if the spread is from 750-1500 would that mean that schools with enrollment from 750-1125 would play each other as D2 and schools with the enrollment from 1126-1500 would be together as D1?
