Brownwood @ Gatesville (dist championship game)

Burnet @ Llano (big rivalry game where anything could happen this season). Llano wins, it get's interesting. Burnet wins, it's pretty much a done deal that they go D1.

Not after Friday. Great win from Burnet, hard to imagine some were so wrong about LH just 3 weeks ago. Doesn't matter who the rep is from 8-3A to me, just wishful thinking from the Ville folks hoping to see the Lions. Best of luck to Burnet from here on out.

I'm not sure folks were "so wrong" about the Hill...As long as they got that Slot-T workin', they're dangerous! Dang it's frustrating to see your team tryin' to stop them...It's goes something like this:
1st down - RUN 4 yards
2nd down - RUN 5 yards --- "who the hell had the ball that time?"
3rd down - RUN 6 yards

1st down - RUN 7 yards --- "dammit I can't see the ball!"
2nd down - RUN 5 yards

1st down - RUN 3 yards
2nd down - RUN 6 yards
3rd down - RUN TOUCHDOWN!!!......meanwhile, we're in the stands chewin' our nails off one by one!!...Then we start yellin' at the refs to call a flag on em' or something!!!....I usually start pickin' a fight with the wife out of frustration, then I steal her nachos! I remember my son sayin' he hated to play against The Hill...even though his junior year bunch did beat them 48-6 one season...they ruined his senior year on a pic six to win the DC in the last minutes....He's still mad bout that one!!:foul:

If certain things happen the Hill can still make the playoffs and their opponents will not like it. They're still a work in progress especially with the defense. But never count that ugly-ass purple-colored team out!!:D

Not to sure that Iowa Park makes it. They got their butt handed to them by WFalls Hirschi and Graham, if Burk beats them then Iowa Park is out and Burk is in due to the fact they beat Hirschi. Looks like its going to be #1 Graham #2 Vernon #3 Burk. Burk will go big school. Graham and Vernon Div #2
