The best I can tell Carthage and Jasper have played 14 times since the first matchup in 1928.

Carthage leads the series 7 - 5 - 2

P.S. Interesting, in 1926 Carthage defeated the SFA Freshman team 14 - 6.

This should be a good game, haven't seen either team play this year but I'll take Carthage by 7

I'll take Carthage in this one but Jasper's defense is to good to allow a complete beatdown. I think Jasper can hang to win 10-14 points. Its the Jasper offense that will have to step up for a chance to win it.

Question.... I've heard conflicting reports. Was Golden pulled from the game by Surratt or was he ejected. If he was pulled, will he be playing this week? I know this seems like a smoaky question but they have a tendency to bad mouth teenagers and use their favorite phrase "no class". If he's not playing I say Carthage by 1 TD, b/c listening on the radio it seemed that Center was running right at his replacement with quite a bit of success.

Henderson beat Sfa frehman 36-0 and 13-6 in 1930 and 1931 lol.
Oh were 3-3-2 against Jasper and 38-31-4 vs Carthage.

He was ejected, but any player would have done the same thing. They were holding him on every play. Golden kept telling the Ref they are holding. The Ref told him if you keep complaining, you will be ejected and that is what happened. Coach S asked the ref why his player was being ejected and that was the reason the ref gave him. Coach S said he was being held and the ref said I know he was, but he is a big o'boy. True story.
