Cecil Johnson rushed for more than 250 yards tonight. This was his fifth game to rush for more than 200 yards.
Giddings scored on the opening kickoff when they recovered an Apache fumble in the endzone. Took the Apaches into the 2nd quarter to gain control of the game. Apaches held Giddings running back Glenn to 66 yards and intercepted Buff quarterback, Dock, twice. Both interceptions came off of tipped balls. Apaches put the game away in the fourth quarter and handed the seventh ranked Buffs their first loss of the season.
