ESPN did a great story about the Barrow Alaska field and how it came to be. The story about the kids there and the pitiful football field that they played on (gravel, sand and rocks). The story was seen by a Jacksonville Florida woman who was so moved that she started soliciting donations and ran fund raisers to have a turf field installed. It is a really cool story. Here are a couple of links that detail the story.

You should add milano its south endzone has a 10-20 foot drop off that makes it awesome and exciting on pass plays to that endzone.
