This is a very important game in D30. I think Sinton will win by 2-3 tds. The Pirates have something to prove and need to win to stay in contention for a share of the district title. I don't think Orange Grove has faced this good of an offense yet.

I hope this Sinton team learned a few things Friday night because if they didn't, they will be in third place after this Friday.....

I think Sinton will be better prepared for the OG game. I think as good as the Sinton coach is he will find a way to improve the run defense. I have no doubt that the Sinton offense is going to score a lot of points in this game. QB Handson has a statement to make.

Sinton wins 28 to 21 in a close game. Remember OG still has Coach Bomar whose son was a great player for Oklahoma and Texas State. That increases the risk.

Not only the #1 seed in Div. 2 but Sinton needs to win to have a chance at a share of the district title. Ingleside and Orange Grove play the last week of the regular season so it could become very suspenseful.

Hopefully they can get it together against OG. People back home were telling me Sinton wasn't responding too well to being down early and when things got bad started putting their heads down. Sintons QB needs to start hitting more receivers instead of staring down and relying on Shedd to bail him out. Also Defense needs to start stepping up, you can't win a lot of games allowing 28 to the other team every week

Orange Grove has had some close games and have even come from behind down big to win. They are definitely a really good team. With that being said, IMO their toughest games are yet to come with the first one starting this Friday. In the past nine years when Ingleside and Sinton have met usually a win or loss in that game by either opponent resulted in a win with their next. Sinton will be re-focused this week and will be looking to make a statement. This is going to be a good one.

This game will definitely be the most interesting in D30 this week. I don't think OG is ready for Sinton's offense and the Pirates are pissed off. OG is going to pay the price.

Sinton seemed to have good size, on both sides of the ball heck even Hanson was a big kid, he looked like a LB or DE. In the paper OG looked big compared to Rockport but then again Rockport's playing with their JV team just about after all those injuries.

We knew from the first scrimmage we watched that Sinton would be giving up some TD's with their defense, but in last weeks game, they should have been matching score for score...tough to do that when you're turning the ball over 3-4 times. Very poor display across the board, but definitly NOT the usual display!

Tough loss and hopefully this makes them be better prepared in protecting the ball against good competition.

Most likely going to have to keep scoring against OG, the defense shows some bright spots but can't seem to stop a drive when they have the opponent on 3rd and long several times this season.

Big thing for them this week is TURNOVERS can't have as many as they did last week if they do then OG will capitalize on them just as the Mustangs did. Protect the ball and they will win this game.

News flash...TD's called back are because they were gotten illegally! Everyone would have many touchdowns if someone(or many) are holding or chop blocking! And drives that stalled? Really?!? If you want to count stalls, then lets just say, for giggles, that Sinton's three or four turnovers were just "stalled" plays, so we should have had 48 or so points... That's just so funny! :ack!: :taunt:

I haven't read anything on this thread that remotely resembles any of our fans being overconfident. LOL

After last week, if our fans, players and/or coaches are overconfident there is something really wrong with them.

Ask any regular fan of this site and they will tell you that OG ALWAYS plays us tough, ALWAYS! I fully expect a battle tonight and one that we may not emerge victorious from.
