What do you mean caught a break? How they hadnt already blown a whistle to stop the play anyways was beyond me, aside form the fact that it looked like a TD to begin with. Forward progress had CLEARLY been stopped.

Looked to me he was laying on the pile on top of players and got the ball stripped. Was close on being a TD too. They sure did let the play run back for a long ways before your hear the whistle. Forward progress is usually used to spot the ball. Unless you know when the whistle blew, its hard to tell. I never could tell what all the coomotion was about after the play with the refs. If it was blown dead, there should have been an immediate spot and play clock begins. But they debated it a while. Anyway, I want the Aggies to beat a lot of SEC teams. Lets see how good the SEC really is.

IMO, they waited 2-3 seconds longer than they should've to blow a whistle. Manziel was already walking back to huddle up again before the fumble...
