Something just happened. A defensive touchdown for Stephenville after a fumble or interception or something. GR was on their own 7 starting out after a muffed kickoff in the end zone and barely got it out to the 7.

Well, from what I heard, Juan Puga was injured during the game. He is basically the one-man show for Rio Hondo. With him gone, Rio Hondo is in serious trouble.

We (valley fans) have been saying from the beginning that La Feria would be the district's surprise team. Little did we know they would surprise one of the favorites to win it all.

La Feria now plays Port Isabel next week. HUGE game for both teams, and a possible candidate for Region IV Game of the Week

Yea I didn't know what they had given their ND opponents but I was impressed, they have plenty of size on the lines, speed and size with their WR's, and a very good QB that can throw a great deep ball. They will make some noise in the region 4 playoffs IMO. Looks like we may have lost some key players tonight for the season, we are holding out hope until some MRI's are done but it doesn't look good.
