Hope the Texans can stay undefeated--they are playing well. Kinda enjoying watching Ryan and the Jets squirming around. How many think Tebow comes in at QB if Sanchez has a bad quareter or two?

Texans need to get Foster cranked up. Those body blows will take the Jets out later in the game and open the passing game up.

The Texans have a really good offensive line/fullback that can block.
This may be their year.

Houston is going to probably lose it in the 4th quarter. Jets want it more.

Fortunately I was wrong and Houston wins 23 to 17 with a late fourth quarter pass interception sealing the deal. Well done Texans.

Ugly, but a W.

Need to play better on special teams and score TDs not fgs. This game wasn't as close as the score indicates IMO

Yeah it was. The Jets were a wounded team and the Texans played flat instead of going for the kill. The Texans' special teams continued to be the team's Achilles heal (I WISH HOLLIDAY WOULD FREAKING TAKE A KNEE ON KICKOFF RETURNS BY THE WAY!), and the offense continued its disturbing trend of too many three-and-outs. I'm happy to get the win, but this definitely a close game, even if it was more because of what the Texans failed to do rather than what the Jets succeeded in doing. The defense won the game, even in spite of a poor showing by Joseph.

It was a 'close' game because the texans couldn't cover a kickoff or punch in a TD. Texans out gained NYJ by a significant margin and outplayed them despite not playing well.

Texans were clearly the better team and it wasn't close

Word is a possible ACL injury for Cushing. It would be a huge blow to lose him, and in such a BS, away-from-the-play fashion. :foul:

The Texans needed a game like this right now. It gives the coaches and players an idea where they are lacking, and some perspective that losing can happen in the NFL at any time to any team. They already know this, but it's good to have a reminder every now and then, and still win one you should.
