Toughest 3A District in the State - week end week out

After seeing a thread on 26-3A and talking about their tough district schedule, decided to seee how that bears out. Using Maxpreps, which most agree that after mid-season, their system is pretty darn accurate, I started spot checking districts. In lloking at the 1st two I compared, I noticed both districts had one really bad team. So to keep that from skewing the results, I dropped the lowest ranked team in each district. Again, I just spot checked some of the districts with top teams in the state:

Cuero is a decent football team and probably will knock off one or two teams in the district. Can you say that for teams like Needville or Royal or Poteet? D26 has six good teams with two ranked and two lurking just below the radar.

Cuero is ranked 643 in the state. Yeah, you drop Cuero.
Heck, West is 780. Some districts have teams at 1092. That one team really drops the average.

Im sure its win loss record of all teams in the district. Not sure about rating unless they are power ratings like Massey has.

I can't make since of it at all, unless it is based on some long standing record or something? My information is about 2012, through 5 games, based on a system which, based on my experience (including extensive playoff experince) hasd been accurate.

3A district 2 is ranked 4th toughest district in the state this year? The average state ranking for the district is 385, with the top 2 teams at 152 and 197? I'll *definitely* move into that district this year for the remainder of district.
