Boy, I would like to see the Brenham team that could beat Nederland, Port Neches-Groves or Little Cypress-Mauriceville!....I see Navasota is on one of the polls again just like last year. They were really touted all last year and Bridge City went down there and beat them 9-0: in reality they hardly had a team.

If Navasota and Bridge City would have played a best of three it might have been a different story. Bridge City won the coin flip and chose to play only one game because they knew they only had one pitcher and probably would not have lasted aginst Navasota's pitching staff in a best of three.

You have got to be kidding-BC was (and is) loaded with pitchers. I watched them tonight go ahead of Kelly 5-1 in a game suspended in the top of the 5th inning. BC, had one out and the bases loaded at that point, when the rain came down. That Kelly team was the Regional TAPPS Champion team last year, and is really being touted this season. Coach Bryant has seven good pitchers, but tonight he pitched #8 Brian Bailey a Junior. He was trying to work his defense, but this Bailey boy proved to be more than a pretty good team could handle....I tell you what, Kelly has a stout defense and when their bats come around they will beat some good folks....Coach Moore chose one game last season because of the travel distance, thats all. If he had considered Navasota a threat he would have opted for three games.

I don't see how Texas HS could have Sinton rated as high as No. 5. Don't they realize we lost 7 of the 9 starters from last year's team?
