Vernon has not seen a team with the ingredients this Graham team has. This one will not be close, and the Lions will be sent home sulking. Probably at least 3 TD difference here....very comfortable for Graham.

Watched some Vernon film today, They look better than I thought they would... With that said I still think we will win by 3td's. Our defence will shut them down 95% of the time. I see them have 3-4 big plays. Final score 42-7.

Vernon 5-1 Graham 5-1 Vernon scored 216 pts Graham scored 219 pts. Vernon has give up 46 Graham has give up 73. Vernon has played 5 2A teams with 13 wins. Graham has Played 5 3A teams with 16 wins. The Teams Vernon has played have a combined 399 pts on the year, Teams Graham has played have combined 691 Pts on the year. The only team both has played is Breck. Vernon scored 55 on them while Graham scored 44. The only big difference between these two teams (according to stats) is Graham has played tougher teams. Steers by 10pts! Go Blue!

Was a good game, closer than alot of folks thought. Graham offense only scored 21, the D scored 2 TD's on INT returns. Vernon's offense just made too many costly mistakes and had too many injuries.Just gotta add that I think both interception returns were by the son of our very own Inmateboss!!! Way to go #5!!!

Was a great game Graham turned the ball over twice inside there on 20 on back to back plays to start the game that cost them a quick 0-14 start but they fought back and played hard to get the win.

Have to give Vernon some credit, they were a solid football team. Good to see them getting back to their old ways with good football teams. 3 turnovers in the 1st half almost cost Graham the game but they battled back. #5 was definitely player of the game. Offense has alot of work still to do.!!

Can't believe there is more comments than this about about the performance last night.

Are you talking about more passes going to second string receivers than the first string or are you talking about more passes going to the Vernon D than the first string receivers?

I think we started game with 2 second string receivers not sure what that was all about but we can't go on like this once we get into playoffs we have to have our best athletes on the field at all times.

And from what I remember what is supposed to be your 2 sure handed receivers, had 4 balls thrown to them.
