I'm guessing 2. Everything I saw said Baylor TIED the record for most points in a loss. I'm guessing the other one is was jason said just before me.

I'm not sue but 68 points may be the record. Remember Oklahoma beat Oregon in 1972 68 to 3 but later it found they had an ineligible player and had to forfeit several wins.

The same thing happened more recently to Penn State in 2008 when they scored 66 points to Coastal Carolina's 10 but had to forfeit. And don't forget the same think when USC beat UCLA 66 to 19 in 2005.

I am sure many 6 man teams have. I know..High school but that is the only thing comparable to the WV/BU game.

ACU beat WTAMU 93-68 in 2009. And on a trivia note - ACU football scored more that day than their basketball team. :doh:

Read this on ESPN...

"The Bears' point total matches the FBS record for the most points scored in regulation by a losing team (Rice versus San Jose State in 2004; Toledo versus Western Michigan in 2011)."

There has been a few teams that had more points in a losing effort but it took overtime to get those points (Nevada had 67 in an overtime loss to Boise St in 2007).
