Two weeks to talk about this game. Might as well get it started. I heard Ingelside has a good D. This should be a track meet. 28-21 Sinton.

I only listened to the game and would probaly have to agree. If you can't score in the redzone especially on 1st and goal on the 1 yard line then your in trouble. I know Ingleside has used the spread for some time now, but why not line under the center and run a QB sneak? Worst case is you don't get in, but don't lose 5 or 6 yards.

I would agree that Ingleside has the athletes. From what I have read Sinton has some talented playmakers, but I think we will stack up well with them defensively. It is the offense that conerns me.

Our run defense is improving and our offense is crazy good right now. Both teams will have 2 weeks to prepare and heal up. Just another day at the office. I'll take Sinton by 2 TDs.

Hopefully Snodgrass (Mustangs best defensive lineman) will be back for the Sinton game. He has missed the last 3 games with an injury. He is not very big but he is very strong and fast. He would definitely be a big plus in this game.

You are correct about that but there have been a lot of dropped passes this year. In the Cuero game Barrajas was not accurate with the long pass in the first quarter and then went to the short game. There were about a half dozen dropped passes from that point on. One missed catch ended up as an interception which killed any chance Ingleside had to win the game.

He will be a factor if our o-line does their job. No matter how good he is, he has to have help from the line. Just don't let him get in the open field. That little guy is hard to catch and bring down. Reminds me of the Tasmanian Devil with all that twisting and turning he does.

The Davila kid is actually doing better than I thought he would. He plays defensive end and linebacker. I know it had to be tough on him coming to Ingleside after being in Sinton for so long. Just happy he is having a good year.

Garcia easily, averages over 17 yards per carry and has been the top back since 2009 playoffs.
Handson hands down over Barajas. Handson can beat you passing and running.

Easily?... that is laughable. There is no need for Barajs to have many rushing yards when you have Marquise in the backfield. His throwing stats over last year were really good. Sorry try again.

From what I have seen... Nope. The offense is going to have to produce steady drives. I don't see Ingleside scoring very quickly. They are going to have to generate some turnovers ond defense which they are very capable of. They need to sustain long drives and most importantly score in the red zone which they have failed to do many times this season. Sinton is very good, no doubt.

Offensively not as good. They are not horrible, but the loss of some key playmakers... ie the McHugh twins hurts. The defense IMO is faster and is playing better which is kind of a suprise becasue the McHughs played defesne as well. You look at the Refugio game and say... "how can that be?" as others may have pointed out it is much more of a team effort. There have been some injuries, but that is what makes very good teams great. They can substitue backups without any worries. Unfortunately, I don't think Ingleside has that ability this year.

Man this thread blew up I was away 1/2 a day? LOL.....yeah this should be a good game, Ingleside's run defense is pretty stout but their pass defense is suspect, and Sinton can stretch the field. I still think we can win this game depending on what offense shows up that for the Mustangs that night. Not sure what player are gonna make it back from injury but we are gonna need all the help we can get. Should be a good game I expect to see a big crowd come Friday night.

Snodgrass is an Ingleside kid he's not from Sinton, we have that Davila kid who's a second string linebacker who has been playing really well, he plays with a lot of heart. The other kid is the Hesseltine kid who is a back up receiver I don't think he's caught a pass yet. They've only gone to him a couple of times. But he is a good punter.

I hope our boys get to see a lot of the punter that night!:)

What it's really going to come down to is both teams offensive lines, the Pirates and Mustangs have some experience but still young. The only way to make plays is with them. Both teams are coming off of bye weeks so they have had time to prepare. Ingleside has the less experienced team but will play hard and put up a fight. Sinton is going to come out and play their game as they do every week. But the two main keys to this game is 1. Offensive lines and 2. turnover war.

I agree Sinton is the big favorite in this game but I disagree about overall speed and punting. Ingleside's punter is good. The Mustangs just don't have anybody that can kick extra points (ridiculous situation) or field goals. The Mustangs have a lot of speed. If we can just get the receivers to hang on to the ball you will see it. Also, running back Barolle is very quick and hard to bring down. If the offensive line will do the their job Barolle will have a big night.

Everyone's opinion is different, I eat at Blackbeards on the weekends with the guys from work and I think it's pretty good the burger are good, made with the sour dough bread...the shrimp basket it pretty good.

Ok boys, these past two week was a doozy over here in the land of the Mustangs from Ingleside.An ill wind blew and good ole HC showed up at work with a terrible case of the Monday's and took it out on the Vato's. HC says "get yer hind ends into the weight room and get yer feet hot"... all our Garcia's and Fernando's did like 100 up downs before weights. HC wanted to work their legs good so he had em do front squats, squats,power clean,plyo boxes and 30 minutes of non stop LUNGES.I had the keeekers out practicing all our different kicks plus had our two QB's fetching kicks and throwing it back to the keeekers (gotta get our arms stronger) Any way it is time for practice and I look up and notice it is only HC,me, our two QB's and 27 keeekers at practice..I ask HC where is everybody and he says" HELL FIRE, I don't know, last I seen em they were in the training room." I run and go check and we have every swinging Pinata layed out in the training room like Sam Houston just paid em a visit at San Jacinto...I mean I have not heard moans and groans like that since our team mascot (Chuey the Chihuahua ) had puppies. Our kids couldn't practice the whole week so the game got canceled again. So we had a second straight open week but no fiesta as all our kids were in therapy to get their leg muscles working again. Morale was at an all time low and ole HC had to come up with a plan to inspire his troops to fight again. Well, he checked our schedule and realized our next game is an away game...BINGO!!!!!!!!! He says..."I know what we can do fellas"... Let's tell our Hombre's that they can wear their Dallas Cowboys jersey's as game jersey's for our next game..He gathers the kids around him and tells them this news and VROOOOOM!!! kids were jumping up and down and yelling AAArrriiibbbaaa, over and over again..It was EXCITING!!! , Ole HC sure can motivate the Homies, he knows just what to say. Now, he told them they had to wear the white Jersey's since we were the home team so wear white just like the Cowboys do. We had crisp 45 minute practices for the rest of the week and all the lunge work paid off as our kids appeared to look a bit faster in their Cowboy Jersey's or maybe it was just the extra pep in their step. We came out in Pregame and coach calls Juan right and Juan takes it TO THE HOUSE...(first time that has happened all year) I knew good things were in store for this magical night. We take the field and about 14 Romo's and 10 Witten's are bouncing out of the bounce house and onto the field. This game was different boys, we weren't down 60-SPANK by the half...We were winning..HC had promised if we were ever winning at the half we would bust a gigantic Pinata and get on the bus and go home...AND THATS JUST WHAT WE DID. It was their homecoming so we had an extended half time so every bandito got a shot at the Pinata and we finally busted it and candy went every where and we got gone... HC told me he planned it all along, the lunges, the Cowboy Jersey's the whole thing..Heck he even told the other team that if we were up at half we were going home. HC sure knows how to motivate. A good time was had by all.

Marquise was injured the last time we played, but he didn't do squat the year before that. Sinton had no problem stopping him.

Just because he didn't do squat 2 years doesn't mean anything come this Friday. Maybe he won't have 200 or even 100 yards rushing but if his carries get first downs when needed, that is all that matters.

Ok boys, these past two week was a doozy over here in the land of the Mustangs from Ingleside.An ill wind blew and good ole HC showed up at work with a terrible case of the Monday's and took it out on the Vato's. Hell no!!!! They are nowhere near the 2010 team.

2010 was a really good team all around. This offense is a little better than 2010 in my opinion and can score quick from anywhere and with a lot of different players. They are scoring a lot of points and without playing all 4 quarters.
