Henderson is 2-2 lost to Plano prestenwood (private) and 4a Hallville beat 4a Nac/Jacksonville

Chapel Hill is 1-3 Lost to Lindale, Carthage, & 4A Whitehouse Beat Palestine

Last year Henderson lost in the simi vs Alvarado and Chapel hill beat Alvarado for the 3a State Championship.

It may very well still be the district of doom. Kilgore is a very very good football team. Everyone seems to be overlooking them. Their D maybe one of the best in the state at the 3A level. They beat a good 4A MT Pleasant team pretty easy last week. I would not forget about them.
I think this game will be a good ball game with Henderson winning by 10. Chapel Hill is very young with a ton of speed and will be a player next year. They made many mistakes against Carthage because of so many new starters.

The "District of Doom 2.0" definitely doesn't look as imposing statewide as it has in the past, but it is still an extremely tough district. Five out of the seven teams in the district have had RECENT success, which I know has nothing to do with this season, but whoever makes the playoffs out of this district will be battle-tested. The district is still stacked with potential, and every week is like a playoff game JUST to decide who makes the playoffs. We'll just have to see if the teams that do survive this district can still make noise statewide. My guess is at least two teams will make deep runs, and at least one has a legit shot at a title.

If you were starting 16 or 17 new starters going against 16 or 17 veterans who do you think would make the most mistakes. Can't wait to here your words of wisdom. I am a Carthage Dawg supporter, Carthage beat Chapel Hill easy and CH made a ton of mistakes. I was there were you.

When you beat the Rattlers or Carthage, and a few more teams like that, then I will be a believer. Good luck the rest of the year. You sound just like the Rocket did and I firmly believe you will be crying like he was in the end.
