Notre Dame is pulling the plug on their long time rivalry with Michigan in football. So lets see, I'll trade you Michigan for Duke. SOLD! Way to go Notre Dame. Just another to try to to make themselves relevant in the BCS picture. You struggle with teams like Air Force, Purdue, Indiana, and Boston College (who they will probably have every year since they are a part of the ACC). Next thing you know they will get rid of their games with Michgan St, Stanford and USC, too.

Opting out of games on 2015-2017. Here's the kicker: they do it by letter. Classy.

probably right about dropping State but have said they would try to keep SC, Stanford and Navy.

Navy probably has to go to ND one year, and Ireland the next.

Has to keep USC and Stanford for their "National" recruiting. Notre Dame - the utlimate in t-shirt fans.
