I highly recommend staying at the La Quinta Inns & Suites next to Six Flags. That is where I always stay for sporting events in the area. It's pricey but well worth it for the convenience of being a stones throw away from Cowboys Stadium at the Ranger's Ball park IMO.

I just made reservations and it doesn't look like there is much left.
