AW is hitting on all cylinders, playing good on both sides, and steadily gaining confidence and momentum. Bulldogs by at least 3 td's.

I think I read on this board that Estacado lost their RB to injury. That's not good...hate that for any team.

We should have a packed homecoming crowd and hopefully another big WIN for the Dawgs!!!

Rankings only mean something in college football, and even that is questionable. Having said that, being #2 means a huge target is on your back every week...we'll get every teams superman effort, but it won't be enough this week.

Wylie Teams usually get better an better as the season goes on. So the fast start is very impressive.

44-13 Wylie. Don't feel as confident that I picked the exact score this week. Have not had a chance to get with the ref's yet. I might need to tweak it.

The boys are firing on all cylinders now...we just have to keep momentum through district. These scores we're putting up are making the teams we play look bad when they really aren't. Argyle, Graham and Lubbock Estacado will probably dominate their own districts, and still be around in the playoffs along with Brownwood and maybe even Bridgeport. I don't think we have a 2 round and done team this year.. :2thumbsup

Oh, and tonight was a new record for me...I counted 15 people on the visitors side at the peak (early second quarter)...I've seen more people travel for a JV scrimmage.

Crazy thing was their Band leaving mid-way through the second quarter -- never seen that before. They had been playing non-stop, and next thing you knew, they were gone!

They had been playing non-stop, and next thing you knew, they were gone!I understand the weather hurting attendance on both sides, but I'm not even sure the parents/family of the players made the trip for this one.:( It's funny to think...they were a pre-season top 10 and will probably have more wins than losses this season..

Do you remember the first time we played them? Playoffs in '07 or '08--Midland at Grande'. We were the visitors and our stands we standing room only--they maybe had 100 people (being generous) in the home stands...

I was there for that game at Grande too. I'm curious to see how many Amarillo brings to Snyder. Those panhandle teams just don't seem to travel that well. Although, now that I think about it, Canyon Randall
did bring a large crown to Sweetwater for a playoff game two years ago.
