I'd suggest going to see Gladewater and Gilmer. From what I hear, whitehouse may shred our secondary. Supposedly the starting free safety is out with injury until district and we also have an injured cornerback from what I'm hearing. We won't see the real deal for Carthage until district according to the fans who live in Carthage.

I don't expect Bellville to beat El Campo but I do expect them to be better than a lot of people think. Give me till mid district on that prediction and if they aren't, I'll back off that prediction and claim failure on that one :)

I sure didn't expect them to have two losses at this point but everybody starts district 0-0. It's going to be a real dog fight between Bvlle, Sealy and Wharton now that those other Tigers have joined the party. ( I'm already giving EC wins against those three. LOL) It's great to be back in 3A. Not because I think it's easy but because I agree with what coach Gillis said. Quoting as closely as I can from memory - "We aren't just playing teams now,we are playing communities. In Bellville the kids want to grow up to be Brahmas, in Sealy they want to beTigers and in Columbus they want to be Cardinals just like kids here want to be Ricebirds. This will be a great experience for our kids"
