Tell me more about this Sterling team. I see they are 0-2, but not knowing Houston football that well, did they play good teams so far? The one thing I recall about HISD teams is that they are either hot or cold in football, i.e. 9-1 or 1-9, not 6-4 or any of that middle of the road quality.

Furthermore.....score predictions.

With the limited info I have, I will predict Navasota 49, Sterling 6.

*Sharpstown is 2-0 w/ wins over:

Sterling & 0-2 Westbury (W 25-19)

Vs Sharpstown, Sterling had 142 total yards. Rushing 25/15 yards Passing 9/45 for 127 yards
Sharpstown had 373 total yards- 194 rushing & 179 passing.

FB Willowridge 31 Sterling 6

*Willowridge is 1-1

Loss came to 5A FB Bush (2-0) 39-0 in Week 0

The Eagles had almost 400 yrds vs Sterling. 112 rushing/258 passing

I don't think that Sterling will give Navasota much of a game; however, the forecast is calling for 50-60% of rain on Friday, so mother nature may have a say.

Ahhh, good. I actually will be off this Friday, so I may make it. Praying for dry weather during the game, and it can pour its tail off after we get in the car.

Yeah, hopefully the rain won't put a damper on homecoming.

I'm a proud graudate of Ross Shaw Sterling (c/o 84). I gotta give Coach Chinea some credit for scheduling La Marque last year and Navasota this year. He won't duck the big boys.

With that being said, like the La Marque game last year, this one should be over and done within the first 8 minutes. Tell your coach to have the JV on standby. Heck, freshmen, too! Yeah it'll be that bad.
