One of the states oldest rivalerys is this week Itis the oldest continous rivalery still being played. This is only about the 5th or 6th time it hasnt been a district game . El Campo leads the series 54-44-7 and has won the last 6 contest The is the second year in a row the game is being played in Bay City. Last year El Campo scored in the last 10 to 14 second to win a back and forth affair. Throw away the record booksin this one
Im a homer and pick El Campo
any thoughts??

Good to see another Bird fan on here. I've been to a few of these games ( bout 80 0f them) and there is nothing like it. I'll stick my neck out and say EC 46 - BC 0 or EC 22 - BC 20 or .... I don't want to think about it.

Want to hear something kinda weird??? That Prosperity Bank sign you're showing is where my mom worked for a few years after she retired from the USDA. But the weird thing is she lives in Bay City. And here's something else. For years, my stepdad has driven the Bay City team bus for the football team,(as well as other sports teams). They are both retired now, but this thread seems to weave a not too distant past into their lives. I guess I won't be picking a winner in this one, huh! According to my stepdad, this most recent coach has the kids back on the right track again after a few years of stumbling that occured within the school district. I think those Black Cats will give El Campo all they want in this one.

Bay City HC Dan Burk will have BC ready IMO. EC will win, but-- BC makes a game of it IMO.

I hear that this is one of those rivalry games that you can throw the W-L records of both teams aside, cuz anything can happen.

I guess you have to pick the ricebirds in this one, but you never can tell........
