Reposting this for SinFan75.

In his original post , He asked "who wins" ?

This should be a great game between these two teams.

RH has made it interesting when Puga is in there as qb. Best qb they'll face that can extend plays in regular season. Hopefully K. Garcia returns this week, Sinton had several chances to put a lot more points last week and with Garcia not there they struggle to finish off drives.

I can't remember. Does RH run? If so, we are in trouble. Hopefully our offense is back on track this week!

If RH can run then its going to be a long season for Sinton defense in trying to get the right players in there that can stop the run.

RH is led by their qb Puga. He can run but will try to pass the ball first.

Hopefully defense tunrs it around this week.

Sinton too talented. I see them getting it back on track this week. True, they have to shore up that "up the middle" run defense. I think they will with all those returners, and tremendous coaching staff.

Sinton 35
RH 21

Yoakum gave Sinton a good wake up call. Just like Hondo did last year. Sinton by 2 TDs.

48-27 sinton.... Defense still has holes to fill. The offense rolling along. 2 kick offs returned for TDs by Shedd from Sinton.

Good win for Sinton. Looks like the D still needs some work, but you can be a little forgiving when you score 48. I think Yoakam is going to surprise some people this year. Kornegay is a quality coach, and they have some talent. He did a great job in Orange Grove several years back. Losing to them won't look so bad when the season plays out.

Nice bounce back Sinton. Best wishes.

I agree with ya FG, Coach Kornegay will have the Dog's in stride when district rolls around. Kid's just have to work hard and not take a team lightly. After Sinton game, they thought they already won state and just need to show up for a win. Hallettsville proved them wrong.

Keith Garcia had a big game rushing and receiving and Derek Shedd return two kickoffs for td. RH hang in there with their very good qb Puga. QB Tyler Handson some deep passes for big gains and also rushed for over 100 yds.

Sinton had 10 players that didn't suit up against Yoakum and got most of them back for this game but still will be missing their 2 starting defensive tackles for a few more games. Alot of game experience for the backups should help on depth later on the year.

Yes, missing starters makes a hugh difference for sure SintonFan_inAustin. We had our top "O" player out, and out top "D" player out this Friday, and H'V spotted that and ran right where this kid would of been. Great coaching on H'V part. They earned this win fair and square and coached a great game putting his players in the proper position to take advantage of our weaker area this night.
