The Sinton girls track team has about 10 district titles in 13 years i believe. Just wanted to know who else has such streaks, and what teams have storied pasts, ie Refugio.
(PS>> Im a 'homer' for Region IV, hehe)

Jasper has won the last 18 District titles and 3 State in that time. But that was in 4A.They will have to start new traditions in 3A.

It's been a while since Forney hasn't won the District Title...they've also held their own at the state meet...

I hear at the Bryan Vikings Relays last week Jasper's Texas A&M Red Bryant threw the shot for gold, 56' 11.5", and Jasper placed 2nd in the 200m, 4th in the 100m, and were leading in the 400m relay until disqualified on the last handoff for being out of the box. And they did this against mainly a 5a field without their basketball runners because they were still playing basketball at the time. Yes, they will have to prove themselves at the 3a level but, barring injuries, bad grades, etc, I think they will definitely be competitive again this year.
