This past weekend they beat a very good Navy team in Ireland 56 to 10. The Irish were playing the game in Ireland and ironically they were not the home team. But ND is back. Scary times indeed but it is a good Christian School that promotes high moral values.

Jury is still out in my book. One win over a non-ranked opponent isn't really "powerhouse" material..

So is Boston College also a football powerhouse? They're a Catholic University.. I don't have anything against Catholics (heck, I am one..), I just think that we should let Notre Dame win more than one game before we consider them "back." ;)

You have to remember that Navy is good this year. They ended last year strong with three out of four wins last year against good teams by beating Troy 42-14, SMU 24-17 & Army 27-21. Remember those three teams have won national championships in college footbally. Troy won the NAIA NC in 1968, SMU in 1935 & Army twice in 1944-45. The loss out of those last 4 games was to San Jose State by a close 3 point margin and this was to a team that has beaten Oregon, Oregon State and Stanford in the past.

Probably some of the most ridiculous points that I have ever heard to try and make Notre Dame sound relevant again.

Doubt anyone noticed....but ND's Cam McDaniel played some RB towards end of game. Cam is a Coppell High grad who played with Jaxon Shipley during their middle school days in Burnet. Way to go Cam!....and for the record, this Cam is not related to me!....I'm named after my dog!.....

My niece just graduated from ND with a chemestry degree.(she knows everything about ND football) "They will go unbeaten in regular season, and beat Alabama for the BCS championship" "It would of been USC but ND stomped them in their last game". Also they have the "Rudy" factor.

Hey, A&M has already 1-upped (or is it 2-upped?) ND ... 2 additional national titles to their resume since last year.

For what it is worth, Celina claims a Class B tie as a state championship.

More proof today as ND beats a fine Purdue football team 20-17. Remember Purdue is where Drew Brees played college football and in 1967 Purdue beat USC in the Rose Bowl.
