We just passed by there today and shared conversation about how nice the stadium looked. Had to get a Mamacita's fix. Is Wimberley's Will Tuttle starting for TS?

ESPN SportsCenter today said this was the second biggest upset of all time. They were talking about a Stanford team that once beat USC as the biggest. Cats are getting into pretty tall cotton here. There are some really big names on their schedule this year. Can't wait to see how they do against Tech next week.

Southwest Texas, errr Texas State is my alma mater too. I am proud of them--but Tech will crush them...

And that my friends is why they play the game! Now if some of that can rub off on A&M this season...

Our youngest son is at Texas State, so hubby and I thought about making the game this week against Tech, but we have an opportunity to go to watch UIW at SHSU & decided that took priority.

Adam stood in line for his ticket Wednesday. There were only 1000 available for students. When he got there, there was a huge line. They had chairs with water toward the front, so folks could "take a load off" while they waited. He moved up to the chairs & when the line started moving, got up and moved with it. He said he cut in front of 3-4 thousand & was able to get his. :D

What about Appalachian st over Michigan in the big house. That has to be one of the biggest

Tech will roll them, raiders won't be caught off guard . When a big underdog wins the next team is usually ready .

Yeah I would say this one has to be the biggest upset. Stanford over USC in 2007 is up there too.

Stanford-USC was the only upset that had a bigger pointspread (-41) than this one (-35).

Of course Stanford only won that game by one point.

No offense intended, but I hope it's a blowout for Tech as it should be. Wish I could be there.

I don't get to watch many exciting football games on Friday nights. This is the only reason I hope it's competitive. Most of the Fridays me and a buddy try to guess if we will score in 3 or less plays.

If tech wins by 80 I will be happy, although we would probably leave early, 2 kids in tow :)
