The last time Gameday came to College Station was in 2006 for a top 20 matchup with Oklahoma, who won. In 2010, it was down to Nebraska/A&M and Illinois/Northwestern at converted Wrigley Field, and Chicago won out. Other than 2010, I have not seen consistent, quality A&M football since my high school days, and I graduated 11 years ago. Growing up in the good years spoiled me, so the move to the SEC is really the most excited I have been since the 02 game at Kyle vs. Oklahoma, which was the first game I went to by myself. I think Sumlin has the right attitude, and the right personnel, on offense at least, to compete at the higher levels of SEC play in short order, and change the culture of mediocrity that has hung over CS like a bad locker room funk. It starts on Saturday with UF.

Florida is not the Florida of old, they didn't look very good last week. Ags have a chance to get first sec win in about 20 years

The storyline of this game is probably the Aggies offense vs. Florida's defense.
With the returning O-Line, EZ and Swope, C-Mike, etc... Ags have some weapons on offense. Defense on the other hand is going to be an issue for TAMU. D-Line is not talented.
