Looks like the Longhorns aren't gonna go down without a fight. Rice will be tough, though.

Good luck to the Fighting Owls! They may not have a hand signal, but there's a lot of talent and heart on that team, not to mention brains. May the best team win!

They may not have won a national championship and the baseball team may not win it in Nebraska but Texas has had great success in sports this year. In football they were in the top ten with a great season. The men and women basketball teams made the final four. The baseball team has made the final four too and may go even farther. The women's track team got 2nd and the men's track team got 6th in the NCAA tournament. And don't forget that the softball team also made the final four and was so close to winning it all. They also did very well in other sports and got into playoffs. They may not have won any national championships (baseball team still has a shot) but they were sure in the action a lot.
