Based on the way Wimberley showed against Llano last night, I am not sure how anyone could even consider them for one of the top teams in the region much less the state.

Well they also went to at least double maybe triple OT with a 3-7 team last year in the playoffs and they ended up winning state.

I think people had high expectations again for them and apparently Llano is much improved. I didn't put them in my top 10 but I'm not sure what to think about the Texans so I left them on my TBD list

Well Gontex dont' be so sure about that. I know its hard to say something nice because of last year beating, but
1. Senior QB was hurt, played first half, but did not come back out of the locker room at half. Soph back up played entire second half for the first time to ever see varsity football.
2. Our top DL and OL player did not make it back out of locker room after half time.
3. One of our top senior LB's has been out and will miss 3 more games
4. And most of all - Llano has some very good players and is a good team and IMO has a chance for a playoff spot in their district.
