At least we are watching FOOTBALL again, and being entertained with plays like this. Ain't it just great!

It was entertaining but was all wasted effort. The ball was dead as soon as the kicking team recovered it. Not sure why the crew let play continue. I looked up the box score and it appears they got things straight after the play and brought ball back where it should have been blown dead.

I knew it couldn't be advanced, but wasn't sure if it could be ran the wrong way.

I saw a crew tonite that allowed a team to play with 4 O-linemen with linemen numbers and allowed Number "88" to play as a tackle. 4 refs thought it was acceptable.

I thought so when I first saw it but it is good they got it right. Still the defensive team should have let him run to the endzone and got two points and maybe if he tossed the ball in the air recover it for a td. Still it is easy to make mistakes in a fast moving play but the officials finally got it right but wasted effort could have been avoided if they had blown the whistle right away plus avoided potential risk and injury.
