when you walk or on the field or see a team from the stands, what colors are the most intimidating to yall

A combination of Pink and Lavender. Any team that can wear those colors has got to be tough.

Orange on Black... Gonzales really looks intimidating in those colors...

I had someone tell us that we looked intimidating in '98 when we played at Yoakum (It was a Yoakum fan)...

It was really cold so we had black spandex pants and shirts under white jerseys and pants with dark green numbers...

We don't do that anymore, though...

Back to the good old Green and White, which I'm liking...

Well for me its the red color...I never really seen anything like this in 3a but i graduated from Sterling highschool in baytown...If anyone has played in Katy's Stadium will understand this...We had Katy for their homecoming game and they had that blood red (Nebraska) color for their team and they not only sold out the home side but the visitors side too...It was insane....funny thing was they were trying to win their 35th regular season game in a row and got beat 28-25....buncha really mad blood red people...lol

I say seening a mean green is the thing that scares me the most. Not no gay purple or light blue.

Hands down its Maroon and White! :) Yah, with the silver in it...

If you haven't seen Sinton play, do it, but make sure you're there in time to watch them warm-up...

It doesn't matter how cold it is, they're in their pants, helmets and a black muscle shirt with skulls and crossbones (that is what it is, right?)...

I was a player at the time and we weren't really worrying about it, but looking back it's a pretty intimidating thing...

Ya I have been there to see them warm up before. I does look very intimidating when you see it for your self. Then to look at the crowd full of nothing but Maroon and White, oh ya its great.

Was a good game, just sorry we had to knock out your stud QB... He was just a sophmore that year, right? Good QB...

I believe so. Alaniz was a great QB and without him against Bandera killed us in the long run. He was a great leader on the football field as well as the baseball field.

I'm going with PPHSFan. A lavender and pink, maybe with a hint of baby blue. That would scare the heck out of me.

I think Sinton would be even more intimidating if they replaced that Safeway S on their helments with the skull and crossbones. :D

Actually colors of uniforms never bothered me. I was more bothered by what was in them than the colors. :)

My prior quote was a quote from former UT Coach Darrell Royal.

I have to say that I agree with that one. I would be more intimidated by the size than the color. I would be just as intimidated by a huge guy wearing red and black as I would a huge guy wearing purple and pink. But it sure would be funny to see a big line man wearing purple and pink! LOL :D

PPHSfan, its called an Never Ending S. I forgot when we change it rom the skull and crossbones, but I know we have had it for awhile now. Changing it, no way in hell. Its original and better than the skull and crossbones I think.

If Safeways don't exist, then we alone have the never ending S. We do have HEB's. I think those Hebbronville Longhorns ripped off HEB with that.
