Willis Wildkats-
The 4A former district foe of the Rattlers are picked to come in third in their respective district behind Motgomery and Brenham.
Last year, the Wildkats held on to beat the Rattlers 35-28 as they stopped Navasota at the 1 yard line as time expired. In that game, the Wildkats were up 35-14 @ the half before that Rattlers put on a furious comeback.

Navasota will be looking to avenge their only loss of the season (9-1) against Willis. After beating both Sealy and #16 (4A) Montgomery 6-0 in scrimmages, the Rattlers are looking strong and are early contenders for a state title.

Who ya got?

Rattlers all the way..
How did yall do against sealy in the scrimmage? Looking for a breakdown. LH held their on and then some. Sealy never realy did much until they started rotaing in the younger players in the secondary - Same as the week before in LG. With out Seals-Jones I thought Sealy was very average.
Starting to get a good feeling about LH after the last few years.. Friday we'll know where we stand when we see Giddings up close and personal..

Navasota by three TDs. I have a good feeling about this year. The world is supposed to end right after state, right?

My understanding Coldspring got after Willis pretty good in their scrimmage so I would hope Navasota rolls since they have Coldspring the next week.

Defensively, Sealy wasn't all that bad. They gave up some big plays, which Navasota is know for that- not really a grind it out type of team. I personally think that Sealy will be okay by the time district rolls around.

Ok, it's time for the Rattlers to show their venom this week....so let's see what kind of strikes this offense can make against a worthy opponent.
