All Saints beat Brownwood pretty handily last year at Gordon Wood Stadium. They have some very good athletes and love the spread. Should be an interesting game. Lions by 14.

They really stepped up their recruiting after the whipping we gave them in 2010.

I saw on SYJ someone said Granbury lost 3 kids...I know they said one kid quit and two others went to private schools...wonder which school..All Saints is a pretty good drive from granbury

The "Pirate Nation" was pretty quite most of the night except for the grumbling of some players transferring and an occasional cheer for a second team offensive gain. :D

Ayden Broadwater (fast fast fast) left but I thought he went to Aledo. But thats not for sure could have been All SAINTS.

i was there with 2 of my sons...sat with Cobra..he had his Alvarado tshirt on and got into a fuss with a Granbury momma:
Cobra: that safety(pirate safety) was waaay out of position!
Pirate momma: he's just a sophmore...
Cobra: maybe he should go back to JV!---and it briefly escalated from there..my kids were in stitches..good times! the burgers were good too!

I think it will come down to the trenches. Skill kids vs skill kids we played each other to a triple over time game in 7 on 7. I know they have a good running back and so do we. Should be a good one.

i saw him at the Aledo spring game..he is a great drop back passer..but doesnt run all that well.

This will be an interesting game for sure. I'd like to go to this one but after hearing Monterrey Tech will be pretty solid, I'll go watch the Mexicans to see how they play football instead of futbol.

What I don't undestand is why would they go there for athletic reasons. I looked at their schedule and they have one playoff game then the state championship is the next week. The season is over by November 10th. How do they get noticed? There's only 300 in the high school. Just seems strange.. I do know that there is major $$$ tied to this school.

All Saints is a good school, I know they have some kids there who would zoned to FWISD who simply dont feel FWISD can get them the kind of education they want
