if your in the area..drop by..JV/Freshman start @530pm, Varsity start @730pm @Charles Head Stadium...Band Booster Concessions will be open.

will be some good footballin with the nice weather and the ramp up for the season opener vs Bridgeport next week.

you can see Cobra's son pick up the pace on offense, or Defense51's son crash the LOS on defense or get there early and watch my oldest struggle with the nuances of precision blocking during the Frosh scrimmage...either way, good time to be had!:cool:

Oh, and the Hardy kids overcame genetics and is a heck of a player too!! :evillol::p

What's the word on this year's Kaufman squad?
they will be pretty good..lost a lot from last years playoff team..but, reloading from a really good sub-varsity team a year ago.

When I met him, he had the same laid back personality as Cobra. Cobra has done one heck of a parenting job, great kid!

he's just a purple jersey freshman..no numbers yet...his # in 7th and 8th grade ironicly was 51..they have him playing strong tackle this year.

Well Kaufman was pretty salty. Just had no depth and small. Maybe 35 players on the team. Alvarado pretty much dominated the game on both sides. Kaufman finally scored at end of live game on 3rd unit. Alvarado's backs averaged about 8 yds a carry for the most part. Coach Dixon showed absolutely nothing in this scrimmage. Still tons of work to do. Starting QB only played one series and didnt play in game situation. Headed to Stephenville tonight to watch them scrimmage Granbury.

lovin' our D-line! heck the whole front 7 for that matter! liking what i see from the corners also..they aint afraid to stick their nose into a sweep or stretch play.
