I didn't get to see the scrimmage, but, a quote from one of the Mineral Wells players: "Da&# good game today boys we are ready for this season!" So, if that means anything...

very sloppy of both sides of the ball for both teams. Decatur won 3-1 in scrimmage part and 7-0 in the one quarter that was played. neither team looked good.

Mineral Wells was a step child in 4A. If they are anything better than average in 3A that tells ya how 3A is vs 4A. I mean they sucked ass in 4A.

MW hasn't been good at football for a loooonnngg time. Decatur hasnt't been what they used to that's for sure. Hope to see them turn things around to where they were in the early to mid 2000's.

We will see this week, Decatur is at Graham on Thursday. Lets hope they play more focused than last week.

At least when I went to Mineral Wells (Many moons ago) we used to kick Stephenville's ARSE!!!
