From the words of a Gobbler dad at the scrimmage: "We (Cuero) won 1-0. Defense shut them out. 1st play on O, the TB took it 80 yards for a TD. We will be in the top 3 in district."

The O looked sharp lots of passes we moved the ball very well Blake has a great arm threaded the needle in double coverage to my son for a 35 yd pass. Cuero will be much better this year as expected. The big running back only carried the ball about 2 times 1 for a TD the othe for about 10 yds (5 yds he carried the pile)reminds me of Cooper 10 years ago big kid 6'2" 210 and only a soph.

I expected that from Blake. Great kid. Should be a very exciting district race this year. Cannot take a Friday off for sure.
