Wylie vs Vernon scrimmage

I know there were several posters there who might have some insight, but here's what the paper said...

Sam Macklin moved from Vernon is now in Stephenville. Pretty sure he played on the 0-line last year as a junior was 2nd team All District. Playing linebacker his senior season for the VILLE.

Don't know how I missed this thread, but anyway..
I didn't make it out to the scrimmage, but I heard that one of the two QB's looked pretty sharp (don't remember which) and a couple of the linebackers were flying into Vernon's backfield and making plays. Heard the D-line also did a good job of keeping Vernon's rushing attack in check..

Also, apparently 5-6 players were on the sidelines in street clothes...don't remember names but a couple were starters.
