I STILL don't think so. And all this hype about this new defense, I think they held them to less than 800 yards of passing. He dropped 8 into coverage all night and just kept giving up points, lets try something different it could not have been worse, lets try to man up a little send a few do something different.

Yes it could have been worse. Tech could have left Symons in the game for the fourth quarter. He prolly would have thrown for three more.

It's his first year...

Fran's been the National Coach of the year two different times...

Fran is going to have A&M looking good... Maybe not this year, but soon... And I hope so, cuz Cuero's Cody Wallace will be starting on the O-Line next season :)

(this is coming from a UT fan, btw)

I agree. It's his first year. I would say it takes at least 3 years to tell. Let him get some of his own recruits and get the kids to believe in his system and then you might be able to tell. (also coming from a UT fan)

I am a UT fan also. I talked to an Alabama friend of mine this weekend who says he wants A&M to lose every game. Says Fran showed no loyalty to the Tide. That's the world we live in though. Aggies around the world are sweating it.

give him time - he'll have the aggies back (if he sticks around long enuf)

I don't know how much Fran had to do with the outome of this game. The DC appeared to have the Ags in the wrong defense all night. That 3 man front made them look inept.

If you don't put pressure on the QB, no defense can stand with 3 or 4 wideouts all game long. Especially the Tech offense right now. They seem to be a well oiled machine.
