Don't worry, Waterboy. EVERYBODY will be keeping an eye on GLIMMER, lol. Everybody in Region 2, anyways. :smoker:

And while we're on the subject, it looks to me like most posters here have Argyle ranked too highly in this region, IMO. There are some really good teams here that have more senior skill players and leaders coming back than we do at Argyle. I have us gaining momentum in the middle of the season, barring injuries to key players. Our predistrict schedule is very tough...that should help come play-off time...but it will be surprising to me if we go undefeated thru that predistrict stretch. I could be wrong, though.

Yep, we in "GLIMMER" are getting anxious and excited about the upcoming season. From what I hear we should be much faster and much deeper than we have been in a number of years. Of course, there is a lack of experience at the skill positions after losing nearly all of them from last year's team. Gilmer should be hitting its stride by the time district rolls around. If the leaders step up, and we don't make too many mistakes, the Buckeyes will start getting victories earlier. Our predistrict games are going to be good tests, but our district will be TOUGH. The Buckeyes could be good to VERY good if everything goes the way it should.

I am not hearing much about Paris. They have new facilities and a 2nd year coach who has some skins on the wall. Henderson will get to learn something about them this Friday when they scrimmage.
