One of my friends was upset that they hired Julie last year without doing a full search. I told him that I thought Grisham had earned the right to pick his successor.

Maybe he was right. I heard she was already living in SA and will now make more money, but I wish that had been taken into account when they hired her...

I wasn't aware that Grisham chose his successor. I kinda understand that but as serious as we take our volleyball..we should have tested the waters a little bit. I really don't follow volleyball as much as I should but with the new hire it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Wimberley has an awesome volleyball program. According to the THSCA preseason poll, they are expected to keep things rolling with the new coach.

We should have given Lovejoy a proper send off as they take their talents to 4a and likely continue to dominate. Bye bye leopards!! :wave:

Coach Grisham is a vb guru! He will not easily be replaced if ever. Not hating on Sinton but why are they ranked 3rd?

Current rankings below....oh and Sinton was darn good last year so I'm sure that's why they were ranked 3 preseason. They have a great program there.
