View Full Version : What is the most over-rated band / performer in your mind?

This came out on a sports talk radio show this morning. It was interesting to hear folks bash The Beatles, Led Zep, the Boss, etc...

I'd have to say Led Zep never did much for me. Yeah, I've got a bunch of their albums, and yeah, Page is an awesome guitar player, but for some reason, I just never cared for them much.....

1 great album, a few so-so ones, and one controversy after another. That's their entire career. Yet somehow they're in the Rock n Roll HOF. Please...

True AC/DC still puts on a badass show.



Willie Nelson is probably the most overrated of the bunch. His shows are boring.

hey...don't be knockin' on the Go Go's!.....I used to have a crush on Belinda Carlisle!.....but to be honest, I liked The Bangles better!...specially the dark haired Peterson sister who played guitar!....I mean, I'd rather get a back stage pass to hang out with the ladies than hang out with Plant and his sock-stuffed skin tight jeans!.....uhhh....that was a sock wasn't it??.....:doh:
Don't get me wrong, LZ was a great band....I used to love the little known song, "Rock and Roll"...and quite a few others....just never was a huge fan....I'm a big music collector (thousands of albums & CD's).....but I can tell you right now I'd whip out an old Kansas or AC/DC album before I'd listen to LZ...bet you didn't know I saw Bon Scott (AC/DC) a few months before his death..front row baby, I got some great shots of him with camera I snuck in........anyway, that's just the way Cam rolls.......
