Its the Derrick Johnson Heart of Texas Kickoff Classic now. Cannot find who is scheduled to play.

EQUALS a very empty WISD Stadium .. There will be more people in the stands for Bosqueville and Bartlett than Friday and Saturday nights combined.

Not a kickoff classic but I found where Jenks and Union from Oklahoma are coming to Texas to play DeSoto and ET at Pennington Field. Two of the most storied programs in Oklahoma football. Those should be some good ones.

The Buckeyes kick off The Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium Earl Campbell Classic (not only is East Texas fast, we like descriptive titles) in Tyler on Thursday August 30th @ 7:30PM against the mighty Atlanta Wabbits. G2 is the featured guest & will perform (let's hopethe Tyler Police Dept does not have to be involved)...better get there on time 'cause the game will be over by 7:45 as the Bux will administer the Wabbits their annual spanking. Pittsburg, John Tyler, & Robert E. Lee play but not sure of day or time...sometime Fri or Sat.
