i dont put alot of stock in this ranking until about 3 weeks into the season..then it gets more accurate every week..by playoff time it is the most accurate ranking out there

I would like to see a rematch with CH this year, I have a feeling the outcome would be alot different. I think our biggest challenge is replacing 3,000 yards on the ground by Onderdonk last year, those are some big shoes to fill.

Not yet. This one would throw off everything. I will add it as the season goes on.

I know this kid personally.

Is Maxpreps based in Texas or some other state? the reason why I ask is because they have many of the same teams, but very different rankings than the other major polls. Monahans #14 above Lamarque and Chapel Hill? I'm not even convinced they can beat Wylie to win our district....we'll see.

Mr Hardy has great hands as well and brings an extra dimension than just running the ball

I think we can all agree that any rankings/poll that has La Marque 17th in the state is somewhat skewed.

Looks like China Spring gets a shot at the No. 1 and the No.7.

The MaxPreps rankings are based purely on previous games played against opponents and their rankings, as reported. No human element is used to compile the ranking, or statistical data. Since the human element is left out of the ranking formula, Freeman says it is the most accurate. HOGWASH!!! So Melissa is a much better team than say....La Marque??? Or CH, or many other 3A's ??? I'd like to see that in person, lol. I'm sure Celina will welcome Melissa to 3A with a very close game, right? RIGHT!!!

your right..this ranking is most accurate the further into the season you go..the maxprep ranking is useless this early. with that being said..Alvarado would love to meet up with Celina,or any other 3A's.
